Did a proper run through of this car, for anyone interested. Encapsulates the general feel of the car, while putting it through its paces.

    @Christopher Elliott
    Hey guys,
while creating my own window template I just found out that on the M2 the LED panel in the top left corner is covered by the window frame a bit. I think that has to be mounted a little bit to the right.

    Cheers...

    Nothing's easier like this. ;)
What you need is a nice tool called the "Color Grid" https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/using-a-color-grid-for-painting-skins.62095/ (Thanks to @FuNK! for this amazing tool)
You have to create a new window template file (or use the M6 template) and put the color grid layer on top. Export as "yourskinWINDOW.dds" into your skin folder and you will get nice colorfull windows on your car. Make screenshots of all sides and go back to Photoshop. By using the path tool now you can mark every single window and start painting.

I hope S397 will release some new TC/GT4 stuff soon. I need a more diverse grid for the 24h/VLN races. Quality of the M2 is awesome, keep on going dlc's this way.

Same problem as with the Porsche Cup
Filters to differentiate the regular from the "450HP" upgrade forgotten.
Unless both are meant to compete in the same category o_O

How do you select the proper AI for the 450hp variant ?
In new UI, you have M2-CS and M2-Cup but only the latter (regular M2) will add AI opponents.
And if you race them using the CS variant, they are clearly slower.

The physics of this car always seem excellent to me as for all S397/Slow Motion/KartSim cars, the FFB also excels, the graphics seem very detailed, the sound seems pretty good, ... for me, like all S397 cars, it is an essential car.

The limited power is not a problem even on the Nords :

It is not very fast in fast turns especially due to weak areodynamics and excessive understeer, which make it challenging.

The cockpit view seems sorta low rez.
The seat is to low, The available height adjustment needs to be increased.
The mirrors are blurry, why is the rendering so poor.
For 8 bucks I'd of hoped for a little more polished product.
Maybe BMW should put a hold on the sales of this car as well.

It happened twice to me too that I was seating too low after entering the cockpit. Had to leave game, restart, and position was ok.
So many little things are not working stable in rf2...
