{{Black Mirror Fix}} 1960s Cars + All Tracks [vMod]

How do I ge these tracks

In mod manager, right click on '60s cars mirror fix' then properties, then Advanced info button. That should tell you what you are missing.

Ok, what I need is:

Brianza 1966 1.0
MilesMetro 1.3
PalmBeach 1.1

I've been trying to find these tracks to download and have not found them.

Can you or someone provide a link to each one?

Mike

Almost but not quite

You need to have all ISI mods installed AND updated, found here:

http://rfactor.net/web/rf2/rf2dl/

Thanks for the guidance, I now have all tracks and the "black mirror fix" mod has been installed too..

However, when I select a 66 or 67 formula car, I still have black mirrors on all tracks, incluidng Monza..

What do I do next? I like to only use mirrors on the car..and the black ones take away from the immersion factor..

Hiya Mike,

Good question.

The good answer, and the one you don't want to hear is, the mirrors are only working within DJC's (or my) vMODs.

So... if in single player, you need to select DJC's vMOD, or one of mine if you've visited "!F3 Fanatics!" online and used the Get MOD button.

Hope this helps!

Bryan

Well that does the trick..thanks...makes a big difference with the immersion aspect which is important for me.

I like the cars that are not glued to the track the most. The ones that require a lot of steering, braking, and acceleration finesse to get through corners...too much fun. Thus my interest in the classic formula cars and sport cars like the DTM Audi TT-R.. which will be added to rF2..something I was just told and am pleased to hear.. Later, thanks again, Mike;)

Thank you for the update, thanks to you I can drive those great cars as they should be.
I could not stand those awful black mirrors.

Knock, Knock :)

Finally they found the wheel I sent for repair
(I sent to warehouse instead of repair ....doh )
Should have it back by next week hopefully.

*F3 ROOKIES will be back up using DJs mod.

PLEASE, can we have the 1960 MOD incl. mirror fix for ISI tracks only ??

If possible, I would prefer to know how to apply the fix to create a version with some tracks only.

When they re-organised the forums I could not find the thread posted by either DJ or BB on this subject.

I did keep a "rough' draft of procedure however, hope it helps.

( Note applies to old version of mirror mod. )

1. Install DJCruicky's vMOD
2. Go to rF2Datafolder\Installed\rFm
3. Open 1960S CARS INC MIRROR FIX_103.mas with MAS2.exe (rF2Datafolder\Support\Tools)
4. Mark all files (one rFm and two icons), rightclick and select extract
5. Extract the files to a temp folder
6. Go to the temp folder and open the file "1960S CARS INC MIRROR FIX_113.RFM" with notepad
7. Remove all entrys under "TrackList" you don't need and save the file with a different filename
8. Open MAS2.exe and select "Create New Mod Package" (the box symbol)
9. Enter a Mod name and select customize
10. Pick your rFm File (the one from the temp folder,Icons too if you want) and click next
11. Select the Track and click next
12. Select BrabhamBT20 and HistoricOpenWheels (hold CTRL for multiple selection) and click next
13. No need to include Sound and Talent. Click Done
14. Click Package. Ignore the rFm errors by clicking Done
15. Click Register Now to receive a Mod ID for online play
16. Click Done
17. Exit MAS2.exe and install your Mod

The mod removes the Spark F1 #6 car (Spiderman, no entry in the VehicleList)
and defines the brabhamBT20.veh as SaftyCar (Mirror bug).

mmh, I didn´t realize that I had to install the mod first. But I have a lot of these tracks NOT INSTALLED. And I would not like to have them installed....

so I would like to repeat my question: Can I have a VMOD with ISI tracks only?
All what I am interessting in is the Mirror Fix.
