At long last I present to you a vMod that fixes the mirrors in the ISI 'Historic Open Wheels' mod.
No more black mirrors when using this vMod.
Works on all tracks apart from 'Belgium'.

Requirements:
* All ISI mods installed AND updated. ISI Downloads
* 3rd party tracks, see Abriel Nei's All locations (torrent) (thanks Abriel).

This vMod is now no longer needed with the updated 60s content.
Mirrors work out of the box with the new version. Link to my vMod now
deleted.

It`s not that ISI can`t fix it...

Iirc Tim said it would be fixed with a 60`s content update and that was quite far down the list of things to do.

Many thanks for this though DJC, I`ll give it a try shortly and see how it works/looks.

Seen as how I joined at b85 (just when this mirrors bug came along) I`ve never driven the Eve`s/Sparks with working mirrors so this will be great.

Ok...

Just tested this (well installed it) but still got blacked out mirrors DJC. :(

It installed ok, never got the "Cannot install the following mods" etc so that leads me to think I have all the tracks required but no shiny new mirrors...

Yes I started it offline mate... not tried it online at all yet.

Tried it with all track versions (older ones as well as new ones) and also just all new versions... still no mirrors.

Never driven the classics with mirrors... :(

Noob question, you did pick my mod in the spinner? :D Does not work if you choose other peoples vMods.
 
Can't have anything to do with needing ARi or BT20 pacecar in the installed folder ?

..........that seems a long shot even for me..

Also tried it with new track versions only - Check.

Tried it offline first - Check.

Anything I`ve missed?
 
Only thing I can think of but makes no sense ..........


DJ could have the BT20 pacecar for ARi league mod in his installed folder.

But how or why that would affect another mod I have no idea.

Works for me. Try the simple things first - Did you cycle through the mirrors on-off (default "3" key)? But side mirrors "off" are gray for me, not black like the ISI 1960s cars

No, I tried it on 3 different installs, 2 of which don't have that mod installed. In any case that mod was just a skin on a Brabham.

Nope, but not sure what you mean by old versions?
 
I did that still not working for me.

When i click the DJ icon and accept it jumps to the 1960s icon..............


P.S. I have only latest versions tracks installed
