I was waiting for the BF to buy the Packs instead of 1 car of each pack; i see the game discounted but not the additionnal content.

Please launch the discount on the additionnal contents too.

i have a feeling that even Amazon cant afford a Black Friday these days

As i said in the first post, i only need 1 car for a champ. So less than 5€ to buy the car.
it's a pleasure to buy.
But for joining the champ server i have to buy all the pack…. it's a nonsense...

 

PC + Wheel & Pedals + rF2 = $1000*
Complains about $15* for car pack.

Give me a break!

@ADSTA No one wants to pay for something twice. The actual amount is (somewhat) irrelevant.

 

the S397 cars/packs are so great to drive i pay the money with a smile... i think they deserve the money and they can use it for working on RF2...

 

Paying 5€ for one car when you can pay 15€ and have 5 amazing different cars it's just... you know...

 

I understand what some people say here,
But you have to understand that all racers are not the sames.

I Don't love cars, but i like to race !
And what i want is racing with friends in a GT3 champ. And what a need for that is just ONE 5€ car.
When Wikipédia or Firefox or others need money, i'm here !

 

Using that "logic" (if we can call it that), since you paid, say 200k for your house, you're fine paying a bed or a fridge 10k ?

Then you and your friends should find a championship with Apex GT3 cars. Very good cars, updated when needed, and free.

Mathematically, your reply is way out of proportion to my example.

 

I think a (or the ?) problem is that you can't see anywhere in the Steam workshop, when you buy a single DLC car, that all the cars are required to own if you want to join a DLC server.
And we know that in other games it is possible to own just one car and join any server with that car (coming from iRacing so no clue about other sims).
I just looked, without being logged in, in the Steam DLC page of rFactor2. No Info about this no nothing. Of course people get angry/disappointed or what ever.
And please don't expect people so first search the internet or join any discord to ask first or find any info about such a detail.
It should be clear and showing on the (single)item page that you need all DLC cars to join any server.
