Birmingham is the pick of the bunch, Monza finally has some decent curbs, Daytona is good but you have to ignore how long ago it was in rf1 and how some of the graphics like tso trucks etc look very old. Doesn't bother me though. Thanks SimHQ and Alex
Birmingham is actually very good. Daytona is pretty cool too. Brianza feels very rough, is overly bright but is very fun to drive.
Blah, blah.........BIRMINGHAM!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding Monza and Daytona are great to have too it's just that Birmingham has always been one of my favorite tracks. Thanks guys!!!!!!!
I got a taste for Birmingham as well, after a couple of iRacing races there in the past. It's such a fine track and a pearl to have among the other great rF2 tracks.
Great to have Birmingham but the AIW needs some serious work, as far as I can tell (not opened in DevMode) there is no BLOCK path so you get the "train" effect which is quite evident, they miss the Apex by some considerable distance on some corners and to top it all off when the winning AI crosses the Finish line the game crashes to desktop.
These are much appreciated, but if anyone is wondering, let's call them "rF1.5" tracks. OK conversions, but not at the quality level desired these days.
Yea birmingham it's very funny to drive with those up and down sections and nice tarmac textures!! Daytona is cool but i hate no ambient reflection tracks! Monza is quite old the best version of Brianza is the racefactor one☺ Inviato dal mio SM-T705 utilizzando Tapatalk
Most of these tracks haven't been worked on in a while, Monza being the one I haven't touched for over a year. I'll be trying to update them with all the newest ISI toys as soon as I can, Barber will be first, it's almost done.
Thanks Coutie, you know how much we will appreciate it as I do for the work you've already put in. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Sure, what issues do you see? Daytona I know about the cars slowing down at the finish line, I tried to fix that a while ago, but didn't have any luck. Barber, the pace lap and start is bad, and needs to be fixed.
Thanks for your efforts Coutie it's very much appreciated. as for the AI follow AIW tutorial in the Dev Corner of the RF2 website and you can't go wrong, barber needs a complete makeover.
