@Cselt a weird request...do you think is possible to change tabs order from
multiplayer>single player>competition
in
single player>multiplayer>competition?
would be great, would gain more sense, if we could swap the order and let the UI load Favourite Servers only when clicking on Multiplayer tab...
I don't know if doable but I suppose is worth asking

I don't think that's easy to do, because the favorites loaded on page load and not on section selection.

This is a small one...is it possible to display a count of opponents after selection of a class in customisation this would make selection of the number of ai opponents much quicker than having to manually count them assuming you want to set up a race just for that class or classes

I add that to my todo list.

Looks like these days we receive new builds very quickly. So I modified my installer to patch the official jar file so I don't need to do it manually after every release. After a new version you can use the installer again and (hopefully) everything will be working just fine.

Will this installer work indefinitely, or do we have to update it with each new UI update that S123 does?

You'll have to update it every time S397 launches a new update or build.

You need to reinstall every time a new build is out. I don't necessarily need to do a new release every time a new rf2 release is out. (Which is a big help for me )

the installer under the hood tries to find the rFactor 2 location in the registry. Looks like for some reason in your case that was not successful.

So in the latest 2.3.2 release I fixed that, and added a prompt to ask for the location if it's not found in the registry.
Please give it a try and let me know.

Because when joining a server I cant see in practice or qual how long the actual race will be.

FEATURE REQUEST:

Session Settings > Opponents Tab
Add a 'BOOT AI' button and 'ADD AI' button instead of just blindly selecting all from the opponent Filter.

Wow, really impressive work! The thing which bothers me the most with the new UI is the replay-mode. The gaps/positions seem to be all over the place and useful information like throttle/steering-inputs and speed are missing. Is it possible for you to fix that?

The replay is a great mess. I'll take a look, but I don't have high hopes about that.
Adding inputs to the video is not possible.

big shame to read this, but if you cannot do anything about it, not much to say really... other than S397 being numbnuts for taking out useful features for god knows what reason!

I totally agree, I stick with the old UI for that very reason.

Speaking of replay, since the "Watch" button on the top of the screen is only for viewing replays, and it's stupid for the new UI to have two buttons labeled "Watch" that do entirely different things, perhaps changing the top "Watch" to "Replays" would be a good idea.
