[REL] Better UI

In the old user interface, it is possible to use one or more directories for packages. Is it possible to recreate this in the new user interface?

Great start already, looking forward to what you will be able to achieve in the future! One wish/request would be to fix the highlight of selected and active car or class filters in the opponents settings ;)

Hi FuNK!,
thanks for idea what to fix, it's available in the latest release: https://github.com/Cselt/rf2-better-ui/releases/tag/v1.3.0
Your fix is in the net.rfactor2.app.sessions.jar file.

Let me know how it goes.

@Cselt dont know if the information is available, but showing "required items" in the multiplayer server list in the details left side, when clicking a server.

Unfortunately not, in the install API you can give only the id of the package you would like to install.

Sorry to say that, but no, there is no API for that. You can get the list of the available servers with basic details and you can join to a given server.

That's actually a good idea, will do that.

Love the Opponent Filter addition - encountered a bug - not sure if it's just me - but here it goes:
1) Click to select opponents
2) Select Practice tab
3) Go back to Opponents tab; selected opponents are not highlighted the way they were before.
If you go back to the 'race page' then in again to Opponents they are selected accordingly.

Big thanks

I agree with that. On the other hand, if you want to install a mod not distributed by steam, you have to put the mod's file in the packages directory. And this is where my question comes from: can we redirect the search for a mod in a directory other than packages in the rfactor2 tree and located on another hard disk?
