    Hey guys,

I realized that some new features for rFactor 2 use more hardware ressources than I expected. So I tried to figure out what could be the best settings for my system...but It doesn't really help...what feature uses the most ressources?

    My system:
    Windows 7 Home Premium
    Intel Core i7-2670QM 4x2.20 GHz
    8GB Ram
    AMD Radeon HD6770M

    My settings:
    Config:
    Resolution: 1366x768 32 bit
    Sync: None
    Anti-Aliasing: Level 3
    Refresh Rate: 60 Hz
    HDR: Yes
    FXAA: Yes
    Widescreen UI: Yes
    Settings:
    Circuit Detail: High
    Player Detail: High
    Opponent Detail: High
    Texture Detail: High
    Texture Filter: X16 Anisotropic
    Special Effects: High
    Shadows: High
    Shadow Blur: Optimal
    Movies: On
    Soft Particles: Off
    Rain Drops: Yes
    Road Reflection: High
    Environment Reflection: High
    Wind and Crowd Motion: Yes
    ---
    Visible Vehicles: 20
    Auto Detail FPS: Off

With those settings I can run 25 FPS alone on track, but in pitlane with 29 opponents...it turns down to 6 FPS :(

Set visible cars to 10 and see if that helps.

Turn off road reflection for sure.

If still not satisfied, turn off environment reflection and turn down opponent detail to medium.

    FXAA off
    reflections off
    shadows & blur lower

Seems to me you just turned everything to max and to on. its wishful thinking at best imo, try it the other way around and test whilst increasing things 1by1.
