Found that vid on youtube... at first, I thought it was the new S-397 version, but it's not (rather a 2014)... sorry!
Anyway, it looks really beautifull... well done... to the converter... and probably thanks to SRW!

Sorry, I just saw it's the "old" 2014 version... but quite nice anyway!

Edit: First post edited for correction.

The taller grass close to guardrail.. that's the minimum I wish S397 would do

This is Nuno's WIP... It's been "openly" available for years...

    EDIT: @Nuno Lourenço

Looks good, but the uploader used the standard trick to make conditions really dark, which masks issues with the track and makes it more difficult to evaluate textures. Graphically it seems good, but FPS performance and road mesh are the things that usually suck with these conversions.

What do u mean by used the standard trick ? ^^

I mean i just launched the track thats it :p (mybe the trick would be the race time at sunrise ?)

And even if the track is not updated to Dx11 yet, its still pretty good performance-wize, i can run with 15/20 AI with a decent 90 FPS ;)

But i agree with the road texture/mesh which is a bit ... grainy.

By standard trick I mean having the sun at a really low angle (early morning or late afternoon). This usually makes any track look good because most of what you see are tricks by the game engine (shadows etc.), but track itself is so dark you can't really tell much about the art.

@stonec The trick do work very well... I didn't remember, but I even drove the updated version few month ago...
And by the way, VR really seems incredible, so immersive... I'm really very eager to test it...
