Working around the track...here we are climbing up past Castrol Curve....the two houses on the right are so hard to find photos of. Lots of guess work here and video footage helping. Next will be on top of the mountain and the spectator area and little cafe's and the TV towrs etc. Another week there.....
About a month or 2 ago, I was contacted by one of the Rieza guys asking about my Bathurst track as they themselves are doing a 1983 version of Bathurst for Automobilista 2, being released in the next few days / weeks apparently. I sent them a few arieal images of the track from the 1980s. I am sticking my neck out saying that I still think mine will be more accurate and detailed I still am going to finish mine off and hopefully release it as a Beta very soon with updates of course rolling out over the next months. So where am I at today? Working on the top of the mountain and the entrance to the TV towers and now looking at the tyre wall and thinking of making it a 3D wall rather than the current images of the real Lakeside tyre wall. Lots of little things to try and get right.....busy week ahead As you can see here it is very messy and bodgy. I hope to have this done by tonight also with some dirt roads done as well.
Amazing! now no pressure but Reiza just announced Bathurst 1983 coming to AMS2 cant wait trying your version in RF2!
It looks like this month (the next few days) with the other tracks...the 'ring will be early next year....I am interested to see how it looks.
Surely yes! Mike, the details and feelings that you send us with each news will be very difficult to overcome. I bet that the result will be outstanding.
ok I guess you have insider info, hope you are right to give a try but I also cant wait for your version as I love RF2 physics much more than AMS2
You just proved that A) you did not read my first post, and B) nor do you read the public posts by Reiza and AMS2......
Some days are just....one of those days......like exporting models with flipped or invisible polys to be export 100 miles from where they should be.... For transparency, the models are not not all mine....but the textures are. The AC units and gas bottles are mine / purchased.
I am adding this Heritage Listed building. It was the caretakers house, now run down and the locals are fighting the council to repair it and restore it. So I will do so virtually. May not be perfect but will be OK. I have found a number of photos and rough dimensions of it as well.
So now you're getting into home repair. My home could use some work. Your price is certainly right. The virtual home resto looks great, as does the rest of your work. Thank you.
Working on the fences, gates, driveways going down Conrod. Lots of adjusting and trying to find bushes and trees that look close. Looking at video to try and guess things. Coming along OK.... ***edited...more uploads***
:-D personally I believe that The Chase adds a "balls' shrinking" element to Bathurst, with camber swing it brings...
