Ok, here it is, Bahrain GP 2014 v1.58: https://mega.nz/#!Qk9gWD7Z!4rr2ffH1Hdxb7sU4JJAc76GPtieh-8Qu80h6JwIMFOI I will also put the link in the description of Bahrain in Steam, there it will be more easy to find it. Please, read the documentation, it's very important. Regards. Edit: Ups, Steam delete the link, I can't put it there, sorry.
What time roughly do the lights start coming on? I'd love to do a race that transitions from day to night to see what it all does.
It depends to the natural light. In a clear day, about 17:20 hours, but in a darker day it will be before.
McNolo, finally had time to run the track, looks very good and the LED night lighting is excellent. Thanks very much !
I've been testing this track during the day, nightfall and night and the light conditions are always fantastic to drive with an openwheel.
Wow, nice track. Drove a 6 hour race (with 4 x time scale) with the GT3 mod ai, and i loved it. Day/night circle is great, ai are great, race with my ai co-driver was fun.
The track is still not finished. When it's ready, with all layouts and improves, it will be in Steam, of course.
Love the track, lights look great. I have one issue however. It is super smooth with no bumps at all which removes all character and difficulty from driving the track. The other Bahrain version (not sure if you made it) has all the bumps into t1, t4 etc. Would be great if some could be added so the track isn't like an ice skating rink Nice work!
Thank you, the track is still not finished. Some bumps of brake zones in curves 1, 4 and 14 were eliminated because the AI has a lot of problems braking in bumpy areas, almost always they spinning or making big mistakes. I intend to add them again but a little further back, to avoid those problems. However, it would be ideal for this behavior of the AI to be corrected. They give great jumps in bumpy areas, something that does not happen with the player's car. In real life, it is very common for the most bumpy areas to be the braking zones, but currently doing that significantly worsens the AI.
Cannot wait to play in this track modern f1 cars with new performance updates but keeping in mind it shouldn´t be huge improvement (will be glad if im wrong )
From the technical point of view, there is a possibility to add to the track a few puddles map? And puddles become visible only when track is wet ~ 90%?
It is my intention to add a more elaborate puddle map (remember, unfinished track), but the appearance depends on the game, we can not control that.
LOL... worried about puddles in Bahrain! [Wikipedia says "The average annual rainfall is 72 millimeters (2.8 in), usually confined to the winter months. No permanent rivers or streams exist on any of the islands."]
