[REL] AVUS DTM 1995 haunetal1990 [Alpha version]

I'm working on a AVUS modern version for her 100th birthday. This one is in two years. I have been working on it for a few weeks now. As you can see on the pictures, I also try to think of some details.

Aktuell arbeite ich an einer modernen AVUS Version für ihren 100. Geburtstag. Seit ein paar Wochen arbeite ich bereits daran. Wie ihr auf den Bildern sieht, probiere ich auch an einigen Details zu denken.

Note: it's a alpha version, so there's some bugs etc. It will continue to be worked on if some people are interested in the track. If not, then no new version will be released.

After the release of the Tatuus models, I have now a little more time for the Avus. Since I want to keep certain things up to date, I have taken the current DTM sponsors.

 

so it is a theoretical "Avus 2019" version?
You mean you want to built it as it would be, if it was still in use?

It’s like a actual Avus yes. I use Google street view for Details etc. and actual Google map as background

 

Is this project dead or is it still a WIP?

 

Actual is my laptop dead.. so i musst wait for a new one.

First we build a AVUS Modern Version with the look of actually "temporay Circuit".

if you want ive found a video covering the 1995 Avus DTM race, don't know if it would help you or not but here it is anyways

 

Today was a good team day! The day to visite the Avus in Berlin. Over 325 pictures were taken. So.. many details ;D

 

Are there any news here?
There is a pretty nice Avus version out there for AC, maybe it would be a start to get a permission and convert this and then going back in history to classic versions?
