What I'd really like to see is rF2's unsurpassed simulation features (physics, tyres, FFB, AI, track, weather, racing rules etc) bolted onto the fantastic audiovsuals, content and presentation of R3E. But since that isn't going to happen, the next best I hope for is that Reiza make some real improvements to their now source modifiable gMotor engine (track surface, tyre modelling, transmission modelling, weather) and improve the woeful low res UI and garish last gen graphics to give Automobilista some current gen appeal.

It's already looking better than GSCE from the screenshots, Dynamic Track is shown in one of them, more information coming soon about the other features. The SuperV8 is one of the best cars I've driven in a Sim, I'm looking forward to everything that Reiza produce from now on, yet more exciting times ahead for us :)

Yep, it's indeed a great time if you love ISI based sims, they're all going from strength to strength.

It's SCE with updates, the graphics are still mostly the same. If you see more, you're going through wishful thinking and seeing what's not there :p. There are updates to the updates they made, so it does look better than SCE thanks to their shader work, etc.

The F v10 looks sweet. I always thought the F-V12 had great modeling, I'm happy to see that quality with a more modern and highly desirable F1 car. I also hope the CART 98 mod continues to get support and moves over to AMS :p.

Rieza now have licence to dissect gmotor2 not just add pluigins.

So they can add dynamic road and real tyres and other stuff.

They also release Dirt before ISI.

3 sims for $8US each .........what would the difference matter for that price ;)

Big plus if they can get those Lancers and ORR circulating on Dirt with a "NiCE FEEL"

    I SAY ...IF.

I mean go and drive rFactor " Dirt" ........it is great fun, but it is pretty dated man.................. ;)

P.S. Also what can they do with time of day, ambiance, dust, smoke, fog with new shaders.

I think it's a great name, and thank goodness it's moving away from the horrible Game Stock Car origin. Automobilista is a word in Portuguese that, being of romance/latin origin, of course also works in Italian. And guess what has cool sounding names? Italian names. So much so the Brits coined the term garagistas back in the 60's F1 days.

    "Automobilismo" would have been better.

I think moving the title up the sort order is what they where looking for. Very smart move.
