Yeah! That a very old shot with curbs on original paintings and also a good picture to show the brand new status of the bi-color tarmac. Nice.

    It is that.
Raced with the Clios yesterday, quite good fun. Got the pole but dropped to third early on. Then, whenever i got to about a second behind i couldn't see properly thanks to the "Clio smokescreen." Made the two left-handed hairpins very difficult!

Because there is much difference between the ISI promotional images and we see on our screens?

I've tried all the HDR, I've tried all the cameras, I tested all the time and this is the image that most resembles, and as you can see, there is nothing like it.

In the images of ISI, the lighting is perfect. The reflection of light, the tone, the white, the sky... Everything looks perfect. To me I see it all off, lifeless and with a reddish hue.

This already happened with Silverstone, promotional pictures they looked perfect and then saw us are completely different.

Are you sure you chosed right time of the day? Their left armco fence is all dark, and yours have almost no shadow at all.. Also the shadow under stairs on the building..

The closest I can get. Tried all times of the day. The pic from ISI has deffo a different configuration.
No matter which time of the day I choose I can't get the same sky colors.

it's still a different time of day, again as already pointed out the Armco and shadow under the stairs indicate you are not using the same time. Get that right then compare again.

I can't match this shadow and the shadow under the stairs to look the same as in the ISI image.
I guess it's just a different month, maybe winter months going by the sky colors. No idea.
As I said that's the closest I can get. If you can do it, please do so.

Apart the different time of the day in the comparison... we need to use conservative values for HDRs to avoid overexposures on cockpit cams. You can get the same result pushing on White levels and S/T Lum on a custom profile, but this way you could get strong overexposure during driving.

From cockpit view it is easy because of auto exposure. All you need is a hdr profile with low whitepoint. It is also worth to mention that you can change the race date. This can have a big impact on lightning.

Here is a nice example. :D

Outside view. Had to pick a low turbidity setting to get the sky this bright.

The time is not exactly the same, my image is at 15:00, the image of ISI at 16:00 or later. But if I put that time still looks darker.
The shadow of the stairs I do not see even if you select the shadows in Full.

The only shadow which can be taken as a reference one I marked with red circle, as you can see the position is much the same.

Anyway there are more images to compare, select that because it was during the middle. In this one the difference is so big that you can not compare and the time is exactly the same.

I have no idea about this stuff but wouldn't it be possible to use different settings for the cockpit view and the trackside cams?
