That's a relief, I thought it was something I'd done.

    Re AI
I put this in the general section as well as it's not totally specific to Aussie Legends.

    Couple of questions on AI.
I have looked for the answers on google but couldn't find exactly what I was after.
I have been using the Aussie Legends cars & these are my observations.
Does vary somewhat on different tracks. Calder park is very noticeable.
1/ Does the strength setting only relate to cornering speed & they still go flat out on the straights?
2/ Why do the AI slow down if you touch their rear end?

I don't think this is mod related but understand what your saying.
The AI is controlled by the AIW file in each track. It's the track maker that creates the AIW file. That's why you get different results on different tracks. I've been getting SS to make the AIW for my tracks as he's faster than me, it frees up my time to do other things and it's creating some consistancy.
Calder was done by an old xfactor member Richo who no longer races rF2, but has given us permission to update his tracks. I know he made it in BTB and the track probably still uses the original rF1 AIW. Obbzy did the last update but I think that was only to make albedo textures to fix the bloom. Maybe we need to get SS to have a look at the calder AIW.
I don't think the car modder can do to much to correct this. There are talent files for the AI (please someone tell me if I'm wrong) but all they do is use the track AIW but slightly tweaks the character of each driver so in theory you could make 1 driver pretty much always win.

On another note is anyone having issues with the XY Falcon in VR?

I know Gold Coast uses the old RF1 AIW file. Watching Brighty go rolling through the first chicane is the funniest thing I've ever watched in rf2.

Was that in VR? Ive had reports that some with VR get a big fps loss or it even crashes rf2 only with the XY

I'll bite. It's a Ford, enough said, no need to worry about other issues. :p Couldn't resist stoking the great Aussie civil war.

Have you considered putting the nine rfcmp files into one download zip or folder (not one rfcmp) for simpler downloading?

the missus would kill me if I started racing on weeknights. I usually get a couple of hours in on a Friday and Saturday night when everyone is in bed and that is it. Doesnt help that my rig rattles around due to the bass shakers.

no vr, single 34 inch screen.
Brilliantly painted btw, maybe best paint job in its clarity in rf2.

My rF2 was CTD when racing in the HQ but I had a field of all the racing models of Aussie Legends(xy as well) I was racing in VR at Barbagallo. Just prior to the crash it would randomly lag out and stutter. When I use other cars (mods) it doesn't seem to do this. I didn't try the Aussie Legends at other tracks.

Thanks JimmyT, Are you using occulos rift?
Í have no idea what is causing it. I'm getting mixed info from the 3 guys giving me feedback. They all use a rift.
    1 guy has no issues
1 guy has issue with only the XY
1 guy has issues with all fords.

I have played with the damage file and that has made it better but not perfect.

I really need to know how to make a correct damage file to see if that fixes it.

If anyone can give me a full explanation of the damage file it would be much appreciated.

What would be happy AI Aggression & AI Limiter setting for these cars.
Or what are most of you guys using.
I'm trying to find a common setting for all Aussie tracks.

There is no magic number. Each track could be different.
I usually set aggression to 120. I like to have them fast so I have to push but everyone is different.

    Golly, as high as that.
I thought the suggested default was 25, so I have been trying between 10 and 50.
    What about the limiter setting?
