Hi... Could do with some advise... Since I went down the DX11 route, I am unable to join multiplayer sessions. The moment it launches the connect to server page, rFactor 2 crashes with the message: "rFactor 2 stopped working" I have verified the game integrity ... all 100% ... Thanks for any feedback,
Remove plugins that give onscreen display. i.e. Performance Delta ( ) Check in Bin32 or Bin64 / plugins On the launcher click settings / video settings. Check you're on the right settings & start off low and work upwards.
Hi, Thanks for your advice, have checked both plugin folders... but have nothing in there other than the standard 4 (knockout, steam, stockcars & trackir) as for settings: I run AA: level 3 and Post Processing: None Screen: Fullscreen ... @ 2540x1440 - 30Hz (with R9 290) Have tried Borderless and Windowed ... still the same .. "rFactor 2 has stopped working" I have had to reduce these settings for DX11 ... and get approx 100-160 fps in single game mode... Don't quite know how low I need to go....???
I went for the easy fixes.... Try deleting old exceptions in your firewall and make a new one when you launch it again.
Sorry... ... Called victory too early... It turns out that i need to run in 64bit mode... the moment I switch to 32bit...i can not connect to the game sever.. ? The problem is ... that i have known USB timing issue between rF2 and my Accuforce which does not enable me to run a stable 64bit setup. If anyone has a suggestion as to how to overcome or enable me to connect in 32bit.. ?! ...
