Every time I tested W8.1 it was the one thing I overlooked.

For some reason with rF2 I went back to no VSync.

In W7 this is super smooth for me.

All those times I installed W8.1, remember I complained about rF2 stutter but liked the rest of W8.1

Well I must never have tried GPU sync

Same now with new W8.1 the other day went perfect fast nice but my rF2 room was like a slideshow driving from pits.

You could notice 10 fps drops and rises just sitting in a car lol.

W7 - any sync is okay

W8.1 - no vsync horrendous stutter

What that is attributed to.......... I dunno lol p

Maybe old Inspector profiles or change in NVCP ( I have not really bothered to check it out yet )

So now W8.1 is great to drive but it's lower fps 5-10 or so.

Does not feel as super smooth as W7 but good enough to do close fast laps np.

Maybe that is the new driver I only tried it on the fresh W8.1 finally worked yesterday.

    Timeout Detection and Recovery

My chrome is a old small standalone and un-updatable version :)

    I never seen it crash.

I expect this would only help newer hardware.

Is that RF2? Something about those graphics look very realistic. I can't explain it. Nothing fancy like most modern games, but it just looks...real. I think it's the environment graphics (houses, bushes, trees, etc.), they look like the texture is a real-life picture rather than something graphically modelled.

That`s dear old GPL (Grand Prix Legends) looking fantastic! Pretty good for a sim first released in 1998...

I agree, the screens do look very realistic.

I`m going to have to re-install this I think, been meaning to for a while now but if CCM is working with all mods (it didn`t used to) then it`s a must.

    :)

    You misread me tj

Actually CCM still only works with 1967 and 1969 1st edition and is even harder to get going these days.

I think it is the V1.3 patch and new drivers and video cards, BUT you can still sort it out.

Best way for CCM for 1967 and a test for Isle of Man ( IF it EVER comes )

    1. Do a dead fresh GPLPS install

    2. install CCM , path it to GPL.exe to start ( not GPL'69.exe )

    3. Boot GPL, Boot Alison Hines Silverstone replay , fast foward it 1/2 way around track, click rollbar view should be above car not on nose, if so you know its working.

Click Insert and Delete to start camera movement.
If Del insert dont work retry replay and/or close GPL and CCM and reopen

OH ! Dont forget to " distribute" the GPL cameras to the cars

    DD

Rest is like riding a pushbike.

once you get CCM working in fresh 1967 install mods , make all driver names ie: tj,67 , tj'69 , tjF2, etc etc
    and install Gem.

    hehe

It is what i say about GPL and others Spin for a decade

GPL looks like a plastic model kit you built and done a good job, the shapes and depth stand out like. You get that ?

Then you have one of those solid metal models you know the ones, they look nice in other ways, smooth, flowing, perfect ..... etc etc ...........That is pCars and AC kinda.

The plastic models to me although not as good in material present this more technical look. I know it sounds dumb.

Sort of like that if you get me.

Which is good advice for most situations.

Yeah I won't touch my W7 either ........like doesn't scare me lol p ( I use trueimage takes 3/4 minutes a restore my OSes)

But....... I downloaded anyways to maybe Test W10Home , also noticed July W10 drivers for chipset/management/sata/lan on my Motherboard page.
and Classic Shell beta with better W10 support.

    I still debating it.......... lool
