At least one reference road car in RF2 (sportscar/supercar/hypercar - recent/old)

They could make a street C7 since they got so many vettes in the game, and make that a new safety car while you are at it, replace that ugly thing currently in the game

Speaking of similarities between historic racing cars and supercars, updating some of the historic content with latest tyres and tech would be greatly appreciated also. I think that even the McLaren M4B still uses the old tyre model. Atlest it feel like it to me. Which by the way is a great feeling, but a bit too hard for sebring with same ffb setup i use for cars with cpm2 tyres.

I think by now everybody can see that there is a part of the rFactor community who likes to drive/race/drift street cars.
And not like most people say nobody wants to drive street cars and everything is just about race cars.
So I really hope that Studio 397 see this thread and overthink their decision about not updating or caring about (the already existing) street cars.

And there are plenty of mod tracks suited for sunday drive in a road car: Targa florio, Transfagarasan, Nsuka, Maastricht, Coppa Carotti, DescenteDuMinier, Trieste, Milano, Iglesias, Lienz, Mountain Forest, Longford... probably many more. Not to mention road cars are perfectly driveable on race circuits.

Wow, I only knew about Targa florio, Trannnsffffaggggarassssan, Mountain Forest and Longford. Looking forward to trying these other ones out.

I quite liked the physics and ffb too. Graphics and sound isn't very good, but wasn't a problem for me when driving.
Not the most playful/driftable car with that low steering angle and 4wd, but still fun to handle when driven little bit over the limit.

Totally agree except that it is a ..... MURCIELAGO !!! RWD ;)

Ok, but in the game torque split is :

00 : 100 !!
Okay. Then i would change the word "4wd" with "high amount of traction"
->"Not the most playful/driftable car with that low steering angle and high amount of traction"

To my knowledge that car is 4wd with strong rear bias in real life.

@Marcel Offermans

With all due respect and appreciation for what you have done with rF2, then I ask you to answer the following question please :

Is a street car scheduled for the next two years, or simply Is there a chance that S397 will produce one someday for rF2 ?

If nothing is planned, it does not matter, but I would really like to know.

Thank you very much !

I think we've gone on record before stating that our focus is on racing, therefore we tend to pick racing cars over road cars. That said, I won't go on record stating that we will never do a road car.

To me that reads "We currently have no concrete plans for any road cars".

Ok.

I regret it.

Just one reference road car would have been sufficient, and would have used reasonable resources to produce it.
