Drove them yesterday. wow, just wow. Handling, sound, moddeling all really fantastic. concrats ASR
Looking forward to the HE Patch as well. But yes they look great, sound great and drive great.
the 1992 paid mod is good, the FFB is not light as the free DLC s397 car, like Caterham, mp4/8 or mp4/13, these free cars have light FFB
Is there a link for the paid mod, I will gladly be separated from a few dollars to buy this, the link in the page previously does not work.
There’s also some paid additional content for the 1991 season, you can find all of their rF2 content here
it's strange but I prefer the 1991 mod than the s397 car, the s397 one has a light FFB
As said before, one of the best mods ever made, however in VR the sound is comming from the front. Changing sound setings does not help.
Just did my initial laps in the new 1991 cars.
Very nice. I purchased the DLC and want to do a full season.
My initial testing indicates that the cars performance across the whole grid is very similar. Most cars did a 1m11s around Sao Paulo for example. Is anyone aware of plans to enhance the HE aspect of this mod?
Don’t get it, aren’t these liveries just freely available at steam ?
True...not all asr mods are free
ASR gives early access to mods which are in their development stage (beta) to people who donate.
Once the car reaches version 1.00, it is released in the steamworkshop for free.
Thought so as well, however Alessandro Micali from ASR stated otherwise some time ago. He said they wil not make other cars free, except in exceptional cases. Do not know when the latter applies though... strange I cannot find 1992 liveries in steamworkshop anymore, but I have them in game. Must have downloaded them a while back I assume, when they still were there. Did not buy them, at least cannot remember. I did buy some other early release cars from them though...
Maybe it’s this pack for the S397 McLaren M4/8?
No (but have the pack though).
Well, when he published the 1991 pack, he said that his way of working was as I described.
Maybe he changed in the meantime.
I think that statement was in their website too. I can't find it anymore.
