I prefer the '91 cars (or Frenky's 2013) and "out of the box" they all race reasonable well, they have no harsh under/oversteer and do what I expect them to do. All I adjust is basically Wings, Fuel and Gear. And in truth I wouldn't want to have to bother with everything else all the time either.

Putting advanced engineer options under a "Tuning Upgrade" thus seems reasonable.

I don't understand the new approach, does rF2 have no option for fixed setups?

My reading skills are just fine, in fact I have 139 IQ, and the word probably does not mean anything definite. I didnt threaten anything, just a statement. Improve your own reading skills, I said "if its limited".

    Have a nice day.

I apologize for mucking up the thread, was just giving constructive criticism.

If <condition> then <retaliation> sounds like a threat in my books.

Where <condition> is < if its limited>, <retaliation> is <I will just no longer support>.

    Cheers.

Regarding fixed setups - yes these seem drivable out of the box however I have found the need to loosen the car up quite a lot (particularly the differential) to:

    a. feel the behaviour of the car a lot more
    b. match the amount of slip that can be seen when viewing the onboard cameras on the 89-92 cars when driven near the limit (Berger/Senna 1990 @Monaco and Jerez, Senna @Adelaide Stag corner '91 springs to mind but there are many more examples) - IMO the default setups are too tight to allow slides like these to be caught.

After the above changes were made, catching slides was a lot easier as the slip was obviously much more progressive rather than feeling masses of grip then nothing.
The car was a lot more fun to drive on the limit IMO and laptimes started falling.

I have no problem with the default setups just hope that we are given the option to make adjustments with future releases.

Many thanks for the great work.

Static for leagues or "spec racing"/fixed set-up series or people who don't want to be bothered with set-ups. Dynamic for other leagues or people who do.

    Hello everyone!
Today ASR releasing the last major update of Ferrari 412T2 and F310, both v1.5.
At the moment we have no plans for these two cars, think of them as final versions!
The update includes the physical, I hope you like it!

For donors instead issue the beautiful Lotus 99T v0.3 BETA with the great Ayrton Senna and Nakajima! It was the 1987 season, the turbo era!

I want to thank my friend Diego Hoggo for the realization of this Arai helmet in Lotus. As always, her work is valuable!

    Cool, thanks a lot.

I love these classic F1 cars.

    Any plans for a F1 1976 ?
I really want to replay the fight of Hunt and Lauda

Can anyone record some broadcast/cockpit camera laps with the beautiful yellow beast?
