ASR Formula Open Wheel Classic

I also just donated again, simply for the F310. This car is so ugly, that I think its the most beautiful F1 car ever. I dunno. I just really love these bulky, strange sidepods for some reason, but Im sure others share my opionion to a certain extent :D

I love this car too , for me is beautiful, but the high nose is ugly

Question, what is this package I still have hanging around in my mod manager:

ASR_Formula_OWC_MP4 version 1.0
Saturday, January 17, 2015, size 110,532,156

I'm not able to match it to anything with the MP4 (6 or 8)?

Thanks for the input GC, that was sort of what I had come to think. MP4/6 is now 1.6, so sounds plausible. Think I will dump it.

Finally, for all fans of Michael Scumacher and Eddie Irvine, we release the public Ferrari F310 v1.0

Another update for F1 1992 Mod:
fixes some bugs (v1.86) and proposes a new physics HE edition by Frenky (v1.865).
Download and install both version.
A special thanks to Frenky!

Nice, thanks!

Very elegant solution with the LE release and optional HE package. There's a mistake on the website BTW... the text on the left still links to version 1.81

Sadly I see there are no driver arms anymore at all... the LCD in the Ferrari is now readable, but there seems to be a new bug with the sounds cutting out above a certain RPM.

Wonderful as usual!!

It sure doesn't have the intoxicating engine sound of the earlier years, but I presume that's on purpose?

Thank You!
BTW, I'm working on an update for the historic version. But first I wait for the feedback :)

v1.86:
Hmmm the car went back to feeling like 1.7 to me, with a lot of horizontal "skiddishness" to it, with a loose front that doesn't inform me via FFB. I don't feel the slick rubber is trying to grip the asphalt. I don't know if the power delivery is ok or not, I will not comment on that.

v1.865:
Actually felt a little better with regards to setup changes but I feel a good part of the above still applies.

I drove with default setup, softer car settings, and also both but altering diff and preload. Anyway, thank you ASR for the continued work :).

I noticed that you mentioned it previously, so I skipped the new version until someone confirms. (I like what I have too much:o)

Yeah it's just curious because a lot of people must be driving this by now, and I wonder if it's my install or version...

I had it just once. You mean for example the Williams revving above 13.000 RPM, then the sound goes crazy, right? Magically, I uninstalled all the mods and re-installed the ASR mod and the problem was gone. I really don't know why that solved it...

Nah, I ran the Ferrari, and past 14.000 or so, it goes silent. Shifting up it goes wrrrooooomm _________ wrooooommmm ____________ wrooommmmm ____________

You get the idea.

Which Ferrari? I will test. The latest one (1996) sounds much rougher and less impressive (and honestly like a lower quality sound sample than the others) than the others, including the one in the 1992 set. But I didn't get any cut-outs so far, but may not have tried it long enough.
