In most ways wrong post. Exiting pits, theres no solid line till t1 of banking, so, though advisable to enter right hand lane, its not obligatory. Exiting t2 of banking, there is no way to get to pits, whichever lane is chosen, as there is a solid line, dividing exit of t2 of banking and exit of Parabolica. Finally, solid lines in banking turns are there for safety reasons, as there is no escape area there and cars reach top speed. So, solid lines in banking turns and everywhere should be respected.
I would much prefer one race per two weeks till we get (me lol) familiar with the rest of the tracks. After that, I wouldnt mind at all one race per week. Sunday nights is perfect for me and lots of others it seems, judging from the attendance. Just have in mind, August is a vacations month. So, Fergy, is it Spa?
Just been looking at http://www.league.sr4l.com/index.ph...=3&dataarray[IDrace]=12&dataarray[IDseason]=1 Looks like ppl are missing me and Tom for starters
Fergy, what you were testing out yesterday in the server, is it okay to discuss here? I mean, I don't want to blow the horn about it if you want to keep it some sort of surprise.
Well, here are a couple of videos. First one is my two lucky moments in race 1 where after two mistakes I was lucky to continue racing. Second one is the full first lap of race 1. Hope you like it, and for the people who don't race in the ARI league, they can see what they are missing.
Results are up now on the league website. Some of the problems I had were from drivers names and nicknames. All good now and ready to check out
Great, I still keep third overall. But you're close behind. Great races coming up. Also first EVE car in the general clasification.
Sure, I was testing a 24hr time scaled event. Something I've been thinking about for a while. The Track is Mills Park with the chicane and those who tested it last night liked it. The race would be 24 minutes and the time scale would be at x60 to simulate a full day and night. The main reason for testing is to see how it runs on peoples computers. The response was good but I was just testing
Yes, I liked it too, was great fun. I was having trouble learning the track however in the dark (the extra chicane is a b*tch on the inside ) and so I decided to test some offline. When I came back, you were all gone Haha, I shouldn't whine however; the fastest time I got, was in the dark But knowing the line, this old man had to have some daylight Anyway, to the point; I read what you were thinking about yesterday and I like it, but wouldn't it be nice then to make the race a bit longer? Now there's no transfer time to dark or light; in a matter of seconds, it's done. Plus; it's a bit unnatural to drive day/night/day in a few minutes. That was my point but I didn't know if I spoiled something you wanted to tell.
The chicane is hard at night time that's for sure, you need a few laps practice on it but it's also good practice as there many turns and corners you won't see the apex, Au Rouge just one of many that come to mind.
Au Rouge, yes, but what to think of the corner at this circuit that comes after the extra chicane? The blind one.......that's a rotter too......
Which layout exactly? Outer loop C? Since Multiplayer is not working at the moment, I wanted to try it in singleplayer to learn the track in the dark
