Are 3 GB VRam insufficient to reliably run RF2?

Ah, OK, thanks for the info.
I have the track ir plugin always disabled and don't use any track ir applications, so i can not really judge it.
But if you could figure it out as the problem causing application, you are a step further.

 

Reinstalling everything because I'm not persuaded of the solution.

 

I think I resolved the issue:
It seems the problem is due a combination of settings in the Graphic Driver (AMD gpu here) AND trackIR.
Not using Track IR plugin alone was sufficient to achieve stability in the software, but not always.
Disabling all the AMD graphic optimization at driver lever, and sticking to old fashioned "controlled by application" seems to have solved all precedent issue: now I can see the tuning garage , now I can use track IR, now I can press ESC without fear of a CTD and it seems I've solved the CTD while loading a track too.
I'll further test stability , but for the moment I'm really happy.
