if someone made them i promise we included her in one update .
Thats not a very friendly comment. The guys develop a mod that you can get for free, you are also free not to use it and then avoid negative criticism
that would also in return avoid comments back from the devs that you might take the wrong way
For every person who “needs” the icons there probably 10 that are happy to just get the content... we should be grateful Apex does what they do....
Its painful and almost archaic to have to create 5 icons every time you create simple skin content maybe the game should be generating them based on one icon but that’s another story.
There are so few people creating content for this great sim we should be encouraging the ones that do and make the personal choice not to download if it does not meet your standards.
i agree !!
I don't know if you are aware of this or if it's a language barrier problem but your comments come across as very rude. Where I come from the minimum etiquette for communication is to say "please", if you are asking for something and saying "thanks" if you get it and I suspect it's the same in most other countries. And to call a mod half baken trash because it doesn't meet your expectations makes you look like a douchbag. RSS is a professional company selling mods, Apex isn't. If you don't like it, don't use it and don't pretend as if you are speaking for the majority. And don't try to pretend as if Apex Modding owe you something. In fact they have been supporting their mods that they offered for free far longer than some development studios while never asking for a single penny. The first post in this thread goes back to January 2014. Now let that sink and think about how you can improve your half baken way of communication, because if you want to ask for something then do it right ...
It's a shame that doesn't exist an Dislike button in the forum.
Sorry, I don't get it, pls clarify. Note I'm not an rF2 old-time user so not familiar with all these. So the latest don't have any liveries, not even 1? I think the previous versions had.. or if none, were there liveries available? Just clarifying. Thanks.
Try to come across more like a decent person and less like you appear to be, or jog on, thank you.
They have liveries, they just don't show up in the car selection screen since there are no pre-generated images, so you only get the default generic image. rF2 does not generate these images automatically. You can still see a full 3D render of the car, with livery by clicking on "Tuning".
Oh ok, but they'll appear on track. I'll try that. Thanks for the help.
New update incoming soon with icon for the new ui, thanks to khan1670 for his work on that part
I´m glad I talked about this issue
perhaps we could get an ICON committee of skilled artists with lots of time on their hands and an interest in fixing other people's work....
Would be best for new UI to have only a single icon for each livery. Currently those icons take a lot time to make, and taken up huge amount extra disc space (which is waste of space for SSD).
Hi Fábio, your attitude was deplorable, self-entitled, and it was not the driving factor of this update. The new UI only became the standard a few days ago and it is still met with plenty of dissatisfaction and issues with functionality. There is also real life, a minute team, and other ongoing work behind the scenes on mods you won't be downloading.
Since you did speak so highly of another mod and the absolute lack of quality from ours and promised to uninstall our work - we hope you mean every single piece of content - you won't get to use this latest community-driven update, a gargantuan job by WillyC and khan1670. Unless you're not true to your word, of course.
The Audi update is also on the way
Wow, well done gents (especially @khan1670 ) that's a truck load of work making all those icons. I've made a couple of small skin packs myself so understand the amount of work you've put in there.
Your work is much appreciated.
