Hi, In case you have not been following it, in this thread it is commented an issue regarding the ALT+TAB issue with this mod. At the end of the linked post you can find a zip file containing updates for 854, MP4, SLS and Z4. All of them presenting the same issue. The other three cars do not present the issue. As I explain the way for fixing it may not be the best. I have simply modified frame sequence from 0,1,2 to 0,1 in the ATI (Alt Tab Issue) triggering materials. I haven't figured out other way to make them work maintaining it. Cheers
View attachment 20992 In the following image you can find the faulty materials. I have made some other tests and the problem seems to be in the files themselves. I renamed 799 textures to match the ones giving problems and the ATI wouldn't be triggered. I changed all 4 of them. Don't know if only changing the one ending in 002 would work cinsiderin the 0,1 fix. Enviado desde mi ONE A2001 mediante Tapatalk
are you sure brake lights work fine after the "fix"?? 2 steps is mandatory for brakelights as i remember added last feature and correct some minor problem , like rain tyres ,cockpit view etc etc the new one need time for being making well and we can 't let the old one outdated
As I said, the fix would focus on avoiding the ATI. I expect a incorrect functioning of brake lights. The ideal fix would imply knowing whats wrong with original texture which I still don't know. Enviado desde mi ONE A2001 mediante Tapatalk
I have to correct myself in this one. I made a mistake when packing the updated component for 854. I just double checked and using texture files from 799 renamed to match the suspicious ones for the 854 wouldn't fix the ATI. I also double checked the regular fixong update and found that the gen file was a test version one. I just repacked v0.9352 where brake ligths are not removed from it. The other components should be OK. Here is the correct update for 854. https://www.dropbox.com/s/f65dgb0db93k05u/AM_FIAGT3_2012_854GT3_v0.9352.rfcmp?dl=0 In any case this update is only to see how changing frames from 0,1,2 to 0,1 fixes the ATI but prevents brake lights working properly Considering this. The error seems to be in the assignation of the 2nd frame itself and not in the textures. I can't understand why 799 works fine (also uses 0,1,2) and the other 4 flawed cars don't. Everything seems similar.
OK, I finally found the problem. It was "Alpha Sort Offset" property being set to 0 for "854_BRAKE" material which was causing the ATI. In the explanatory legend it says this value should be set 0-4 for tracks and 5-8 for cars I changed this value to 7 as it is in the equivalent material for 799 and it would work fine but the brake lights won't work still. I guess this is consistent with previous tested v0.9353 having a similar behaviour. This v0.9353 version used 799 materials renamed and reassigned to original textures. I don't know what Alpha Sort does but you nay have a better clue on this and fix it it so that it behaves asi it does in 799 This is the link for the latest update for 854 which uses original material with modified "alpha sort offset" https://www.dropbox.com/s/8p4yrekrsv665hv/AM_FIAGT3_2012_854GT3_v0.9354.rfcmp?dl=0
ok , we see the problem , alpha sort is not on level7 in the brake thing , we update the others cars with the fix. once again , THANKS mister
