I can never find a server running the SLS which surprises me as its a fun car and good quality too, plus we have the ISI Camero also to go with it. Hopefully some pop up in future.
With next updates to our cars, and updates done on ISI side to their cars, I think those cars (ISI's Camaro and our GT3s) should be closer in lap times than it's right now.
Thats good to know LesiU, thanks. Hows the update coming along? do you think it will be public for the weekend? Was offline last night just lapping Plecair's latest version of the Ring and ive got to say its a real good combo.
I think if the Camero had medium compound tires too there would be very little between them, did a lap in the SLS around Malaysia @ 2:07.282, then went around in the Camero with same amount of fuel and more or less the same track conditions and the time was 2:07.895. Another thing is the Camero has adjustable gear ratios, where the sls don't, yet.
Thanks for this work. Could you allow more Seat Position range please? I cant drive it as it, due to my FOV and monitor height etc.
I also have had an issue with the SLS seat being a bit too low. I guess I could edit this manually in some config file, think I've done that on another car. But more seat movement would be nice. BTW a great car, cant wait for the next release! This weekend... maybe?
By the way, is it a conscious decision to have the opponents wing mirrors fully working? I'm sure I haven't seen opponents wing mirrors working on ISI cars or other mods, and it might explain why I get such poor fps with this mod. I've tried oppenents details - low. Still get working AI mirrors and terrible fps.
This is a very good observation. All I know is this mod stresses my GTX780 more than any other vehicle in rF2. The AI having working mirrors could explain why.
I really haven't tested it since the first release, so I should give it a try and see if the ffb is better with the minimum steering torque!
I remember you saying you had understeer issues before, maybe it was because the default steering lock was on 16, if you have not already turn it up to max value which i think is around 22. Maybe that will help with feeling too.
And if understeer continues try making front roll bar softer, and rear roll bar harder, 1 click at a time untill you get a good balance.
