Fantastic experience driving Mp412cgt3@Oulton int!!! By the way i cant find the Z06r in launcher to install, although it is in the packages folder, very weird... edit... All fixed! I also drove the Ferrari....you have done something....dont know magic!!
This is the most impressive 0.05 worth of update I have ever experienced!! The whole mod is coming together so nicely. Quality keeps going up in general and the consistency among the cars (not BOP, but physics modelling) keeps getting better. Only the Z4 feels markedly too light, too tail happy and too little grip from tires compared to what one would expect relative to the other cars in the mod. The driving and racing experience is fantastic. This thing will be commercial grade for sure by the time it hits v1.0!
Not sure if been mentioned but Merc cockpit has the hood flash when braking hard. I think the lodout is too soon? View attachment 20028 View attachment 20029 View attachment 20031 Cars do feel nicer to drive but only had tested the Merc and Porshce very quickly
Nice improvement for default setups! McLaren understeers a bit more than the others and it's holding the AI back a tad.
I agree on the BMW....not much fun to drive. The rear end just comes loose at unpredictable times. I dialed in all kinds of understeer and still the back tires felt like they were worn out.
I found the BMW to be sublime after some set-up changes. I do agree that the default set-up makes the Z4 a chore to drive and makes me wish I had quicker reactions...but luckily I was able to get it more to my liking. I'm not sure if it's a typical rF2 setting or not, but I don't really have freedom to change all the parameters in the garage for any car in this pack. I like to adjust the dampers, but it seems there's some programming put into these cars that says my bump has to be higher than rebound, and fast bump must be equal or lower to slow bump or whatever its currently set at...? Is this how it's supposed to be? Anyhow, if anyone wants a more "planted" BMW Z4, you can try my set-up file (← MediaFire link)and maybe find something more to your liking based on this.
Great mod, thank you! Just one plea: Initial throttle sensitivity in the Camaro is in my opinion better than in the other cars.
