Anyone know how to fix this?

I've recently ported over to Steam ... reluctantly.

Now this has happened. Not exactly sure if it happened immediately, or soon after. I've tried copying "good" UI files that I thought might have gotten corrupted, but nothing has worked.

Is there an "easy", quick way to fix this or do I have to totally reinstall, and will that actually work?

Finally, if necessary, how do I reinstall rFactor 2 in Steam ... can I just do the game files without all the mods?

Select a different HUD in options, assuming that's what you're referring to.

 

It would be helpful to describe what 'this' is.

 

"It" is the huge status box in the upper right corner ... should be normal sized in the lower right.

Lazza: I never selected any HUD options, that I know of.

Could any of the mods out there, cause this?

 

The default changed. Go to Options -> Onscreen Display and choose Multi Dial.

 

Thanks Lazza, that was it! I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what had changed. I had turned off the HUD since I use Trackmap, but that thing stayed.
