Anyone else concerned about MSG’s future?

MSG is not depending only in RF2 and s397. And s397 and RF2 could be sold to anyone. One problem is MSG future and other thing is s397 and RF2 future. I'm not concerned at all.

What Incentive would you have buying a paid model over a modded one, If the modded one can be just as good, or better and free?
Theoretical, if they had the data or get it from a car company or motor sport team. But this should be communicated.
Mostly I think the physics of mods are estimated or copied values.

They do state In every release that actual real data Is being used. Or what data they are using, or where It´s coming from.
I agree that mods are most likely to be using estimated or copied values. Or whatever values S397 shares with them.

In other words, for the most realistic representation wether It be for a car or track, the paid version Is the one that fits best the simulation engine that It´s been made to use. At least as I understand It.

With that said, It´s not always the case with 3rd. party content In other simulators (MSFS 2020 etc.).

In case of radical e.g. they said "So we are proud to collaborate with Radical Sportscars on its launch..." and for the Porsche 911 GT3 cup "As always, we’ve worked hand-in-hand with Porsche Motorsport to pull masses of data from the manufacturer into the simulation...."

Yes, that´s what I am saying.

We seem to be putting a negative spin on MSG's problems and assuming that if their business fails then that will be the end of rF2 ( and its other titles ). That need not be the case. The developers and game titles are MSG's only real assets of value - as far as I can tell anyway.
I'd expect these to be sold off to other firms TBH...
Hasn't rF2 survived bankruptcy from previous owners before? After all it was an ISI title. If MSGM goes bankrupt I predict rF2 will be fine but will probably not have future licensed paid DLC anymore or nearly as often. Hopefully a good sized publisher can pick the game up and just continue where it left off.

ISI didn't go bankrupt, they just sold rF2 to Studio 397. I think ISI makes most of its revenue from commercial licensing and rF2 probably wasn't worth continuing for them.

Uhm, what makes you think ISI titles are bankruptcy prone? Gjon Camaj's policy was to never let ISI take on debt, so how could rF2 go bankrupt?

There have only been two sales of rF2. ISI --> Studio 397 (backed by Luminis while ISI retained a financial stake) --> Motorsport Games Management (while retaining Studio 397 as an entity; unknown if ISI or Luminis retain any financial stake)

I wonder what games could be interesting for anybody. rF2 looks like normally developed and everything else is complete trash.

Oh, I was right. Who would care about it? :D
"Several days after the event, an anonymous employee threatened to publicly leak the source code for NASCAR Heat 5, NASCAR 21: Ignition, KartKraft, and the unreleased IndyCar game unless unpaid wage payments were made."
Haven't played KartKraft, because it's not my thing, but I heard it's best karting sim.
