Any Plans to Improve Edge Detection and Smoothing?

    It is great that there is work being done on making everything look prettier, but I haven't noticed any improvement in any of these updates for edge detection and smoothing. Something as simple as the virtual mirrors have massive jagged edges as do most objects seen from the cockpits.

    I know this can be reduced by having higher poly models, but why should an interior have 30k polys and the body have 70k polys just so it looks smooth when the game engine still isn't efficient enough to render it without major performance impact on most machines. This is made worse by the body being fully rendered when in cockpit view instead of the old cockpit instance allowing you to use a front cut.
