Does anyone know what may be causing my AA to always be off? I switched it off manually a few days ago to test something and I've not been able to switch it back on since. Is there any other than nVidia Inspector and nVidia Control panel that may be overriding it? The issue is affecting both anti-aliasing and FXAA. I've tried reinstalling rF2 and resetting all the nVidia settings, but to no avail. Here are the combinations I've tried: ---- In game AA setting: off nVidia Inspector: application controlled nVidia control panel: application controlled Result: off (obviously) ----- In game AA setting: on nVidia Inspector: application controlled nVidia control panel: application controlled Result: off ---- In game AA setting: off nVidia Inspector: Override x4 multisampling nVidia control panel: application controlled Result: off ---- In game AA setting: off nVidia Inspector: application controlled nVidia control panel: Override x4 multisampling Result: off ---- In game AA setting: off nVidia Inspector: Override x4 multisampling nVidia control panel: Override x4 multisampling Result: off ---- In game AA setting: on nVidia Inspector: Override x4 multisampling nVidia control panel: Override x4 multisampling Result: off -----
I totally wiped my machine of everything nVidia. Drivers, nVidia Controller, nVidia Experience, nVidia Inspector etc and the issue now seems to have gone away.
I'm guessing there was a bug with nVidia Inspector or Controller and AA got stuck in 'off mode', even though I switched it on.
