I would be expecting major updates and advances in RF2 in the next 6 months to show that this calibration is working and not been a hindrance. Only time will tell.

Not too sure what to think of this at this time. If this diverts S397 from rF2 to other projects, this is concerning. There's already not enough staff in my opinion to grow rF2 faster. However, if it brings new people working on core rF2, it could be great.

 

My confidence in this random corporate entity that's been in simracing news lately remains at a historical low. That said, at least in the short term this should be a positive development for S397 in terms of available resources.

 

about BTCC, i think I will pass it, cause I never drive the Bentley GTR3, really never cause I don't want a right side wheel.
But if it's left side wheel and at least as good as ACC, I'm with it.
With forza 8 and BTCC, 2022 could be epic. Dont forget Dirt WRC for 2023...Sadly 2021 will be only DLC with our "old" games.

I remember when we first learned to mod Nascar Racing &THEUSPITS developed touring car imitation. When we got our first crack at right hand drive, I found it easier to approach right hand turns. for a while...

I'm not quite sure what that means, other than they're using it in NASCAR & BTTC? What level of commitment to the existing rF2 community will they provide? 'Motorsport Games' are a stock listed company, so profits will be the key over community. That is what concerns me...

 

Nice!!! Hope they focus some of the new resources to develop a proper mechanical damage model!
The main thing that is missing now, IMO.
