Analog dashboard clock?

Is it possible to add an analog dashboard clock, with minute & hour hand? The only answer I can think of are static minute & hour hands with a GIF animation for the second hand.

I never thought about something like that, but i think it should be possible with a normal Texture Animation for both.
You just have to check, if the Texture-Animation Code can handle 60 Textures for each Animation.
And i suppose that gif Textures won't work.

Oh, layering the animations with transparency? LOL, sometimes I'm slow in thinking of solutions.
Even if the texture animation were limited to 12 frames thus making for a jerky clock updating every 5 seconds/minutes, that would be better than a static clock.

Just try it out, how many Frames can be used.
I mean to remember, that my "longest" Animation was using 16 Textures.

I fear no.
But i have to say, that i didn't try it for a long Time, i just remember, that it didn't work in rFactor 2, like it did in rFactor 1.

And then there's the usual object rotation animation, but I don't know if that moves with the car or if it is only for track objects. Although I faintly recall a rotating fan inside a cockpit? If that works, then that would be the best method. One object for each clock hand, rotate each at appropriate speeds and no need for transparent textures.

Yes, that will work too and it will move with the Car.
I just didn't know if you model 3D Objects. :)
