At least the crimson edition 15:12 and also the hotfix 16.1 has a 'bug' with updates. If you have auto update you will get a cimmanifest.exe error Also if you try to update manually you will get the error Don't think it's anything major in relation to functionality. turn off auto update and you won't get the error https://community.amd.com/thread/195608
