I was meshing with different mods files trying to introduce a gear box into meganes and clios for an endurance event and I guess I will follow the standard since as you can see Corvettes and both Nissans actually have the same gearbox? Is this very realistic?

The whole cars aren't realistic in case of setup adjustments. Be it the gearbox, steering ratios, brake pressure and so on...

Call me ignorant, but what isn't realistic about what you mentioned?

I'm not a setup expert in both real life or in game, but there are many adjustments that I understand in game from my real life knowledge. Stuff like gear ratios, tire pressure, camber, toe in, caster...

In that regards, most cars have very different tuning options... making it more difficult for someone like me to relate however.

I mean, sometimes the wings are in notch position, or sometimes they are in degrees, etc...

I thought that was meant to reflect their real life setup options.

I'd like to know more about why you think the setups aren't realistics.

Just curious btw, I'm not arguing on anything there :)

How many different ways can you get a 3.083 ratio with tooth counts that are reasonable?

I went looking for Ricardo gear charts but came up empty, perhaps someone else can find them?
I suspect this info is not publicly available.

Approaching the search from the Nissan side also yields little result.
FWIW I was looking for specs on the "370z RC" since it is built for FIA GT4. This is about it:

    also:
Also this gives some alternate ratios available:
