Absolutley phenomenal mod m8!
But the AI spin every time on Sebring & also on Silverstone [updatet Vers.].

The car is excellent so far, thank you to all involved. One little remark (or request, if you will): The car looks very clean from the drivers point of view, dashboard, switches, floorboards etc. Is it possible and considered to give it a more "used" look (the T280 Crew did a good job with that in my opinion). Some little imperfections, scratches and sweat/footmarks will raise the level of immersion a lot, at least for me. When you look at period cockpit shots from these era (and the cars now), all the cars have that used and beaten look, which would be great to have. Just my 2 cents, and thank you again for the fantastic car!

Great car. Another gem from ChiefWiggum ! Thx
Have noticed some Lods problem. Most parts of the car driven by ai disappear at maybe 50-100 meters.
As i didn't read anything about this, either i am alone with that prob or am i alone to use ai.
Also on Le Grand Circuit 67 ai cars sound to have some problems to handle Tertre rouge and Mulsanne.
Maybe a brake problem. Not sure.
I tried a fight between ai cars with 917 from Apex vs 33 and it was great fun, with default setups there is a very good bop.
I can't wait to be involved in that fight probably with the next update.

Same here.

Thx for the patch.
Physics and car handling: very nice. Less perfs than the previous version but i guess more historical. Now the fight is not vs Porsche 917 but vs Lola 280.
From VR point of view:
  • Seat position too far from the wheel
  • Still LOD's problems. Parts of ai cars disappear.
  • No mirrors they are transparent.
  • Maybe still too wide compared to other cars but don't know if it was the case IRL.

I don't know if we have a own file or entry for the VR Seat Position, have you tried this?
Assign buttons to:
- "VR Center Head Position",
- "Adjust seat fwd",
- "Adjust seat aft",
- "Adjust seat up",
- "Adjust seat down".
The easiest way to adjust seat position in VR is just playing with your head position and pressing "VR Center Head Position". Adjusting the position with buttons is also straight forward.

Thanks for your help.
Indeed i could use the seat adjustment, the only problem is that when i use another car i need to change this.
Usually most cars need just a little tweak with VR center position so we don't need to adjust the seat.
In this case (Alfa 33), the distance is too important and the the VR center head position is not enough, unless i move back my real seat press the VR Center and move forward and generally the direction has been "misadjusted" and the process must be replay.
But i can handle that, nevermind.
(The GTPC mod had the same problem).

Hey ChiefWiggum,
Thanks for working on this. I would categorize myself as a season rFactor 2 user, and I'm running a Fanatec DD1 (still dialing it in), and I'm using the rFactor 2 DD1 wheel settings as a starting point. This car, on my set up, doesn't have much wheel weight/resistance at all, even more so when turning. Unlike like your other cars, which I've enjoyed, they feel great, but man are they difficult to drive fast. I played with caster (not my go to solution for these circumstances) and it didn't make much of a difference.

Anyone else getting the same results? Does anyone with a DD1 have any settings to suggest?
