I have a strange problem and it must be a configuration setting in the player file I’m guessing. Any track any mod I do a practice session and all is good. I start a qualifying session and every ai car does an out lap and immediately pits. They then decide to go and complete qualifying as expected doing an out lap - hot lap - in lap. It’s very weird, it’s not based on number of laps allowed, it’s not fuel or tyre related and it happens single player or multiplayer. I recall previously the ai would sometimes do consecutive laps eg) out lap, hot lap, hot lap and in lap - they now only do out lap - hot lap - in lap but I’m fine with this. But the single exploratory lap is frustrating - any thoughts on how to correct rbis behaviour?
Try renaming the player.json file. Then rF2 will build a new one next time you load the sim. AI issues can 'sometimes' be traced to changes in the player.json.
