Has anybody found a reliable solution for this problem yet?

Did a second install and now they fight again at LRP before first corner - tested Meganes and T5.
Don`t know what I did cause did not touch the AI parameters in player file before and after. ??

I did a straight auto-update. Racing the Corvettes at Palm Beach (100% difficulty and aggression) they seem to attempt to dive- bomb as before from several car lengths back, but pull out and swerve across the apex once they realise the gap is going to disappear - as it always does unless the outside car surrenders the apex. At lower aggression that would make sense (dive-bombing is wrong), but at 100%, I'd like to see a bit more idiocy. :) I did try a dive on one of them and he swerved right across me to shut the door well before the apex. That was quite good actually, if a bit bizarre looking. But they generally swerve away from you if you come near them, making it easy to overtake if you want to play on that. If you get inside and wander a bit wide, at 100% they should hold their lawful line and not move out of your way.

As far as law abiding behaviour, they don't make any attempt to overtake on the straight, but if you move to an inside line when they've a run on you, they come alongside, on the outside. They still have a tendency to dabble with the brakes on fast apexes for no apparent reason, or just not accelerate when you expect them to. Most of my contacts have been rear-ending them for going unexpectedly slow, whereas it's exceptionally rare that I've rear-ended a human driver - hardly ever.

I have read the entire thread but I don't want to delete my PLR file unless it's guaranteed to work.

It sounds like some people haven't had luck with that particular work-around.

    Copy it into the desktop,
    delete it from usersata.
    Try if it works
    If it doesnt restore it
If it does, change the settings of the new plr to match the old one.

it's called making a backup, and those people haven't proven that it doesn't work....when I've asked what mod/track to see for myself they don't reply!
