Hope this is in the right part...

Just fired up a race weekend at Melbourne and the AI seem happier to follow each other as a Trulli train in practice and qualifying than actually go past them.

Tested at several tracks, including ISI/397 ones.

It just seems odd that in qualifying especially you'd expect to see Merc/Ferrari/Red Bull up the top but they'll catch a Haas or Sauber and just sit in behind it.

Are there any tweaks for this in any of the .ini files? I'm seeing cars qualify where they 'shouldn't' if that makes sense.

    Thanks,

Mabe it is mod related. It seems you are using a F1 mod and there is no official content for this. Talent files might be missing or poorly tuned. Beware that most F1 mods are made by online leagues and they rarely care about offline racing. Official content used to bebe typical better in this aspect. Latest official DLC content (GT3) is also coming without talent files, skins, drivers...

You might also want to increase AI aggresion and reduce AI limiter.

It only happens in those two sessions though. In the race they'll actually race and the 'top' drivers will end up where they should be. What happens is because you'll have say Hamilton stuck behind Grosjean his times will be nowhere near where they should. the RFT mod does it and that has talent files as well.

AI limiter is on 0 and Aggression on 25-30 depending on track.
