This is a know issue for years and still not fixed. Can it be fixed or is this problem a game engine problem that can't be fixed? It is such a game breaker during high speed tracks (Le Mans) were AI just brakes aways their gain of speed on other AI.
Not just Le Mans and other road courses. It's the same on speedway and superspeedway ovals. Pretty shame. Mangoletsi: draftstickiness value doesn't matter. And if it were you can't modify it in encrypted tracks. Btw it's not the easiest to implement AI slipstream overtakes. The AI has to check a lot of things around the car. Also it has to check how far is the next braking zone. Based on what we can see in devmode I don't think the AI can see that far ahead right now. So based on this alone this would need some brainstorming and coding.
