Converting Long Beach to 98 layout. I have lofted an entirely new race surface plus walls. Now I have many many many ads to map on the walls. Not looking forward to it. Wanted to ask the experienced should I map these or create wall decal ads to place. Also, very important what is best for performance?
Hi Coutie, can you recommend the best course of action for your method? i have: selected line and sweep -time consuming snapped a square on the wall-still lots of mapping and sinks below the syrface made separate billboards - hard to snap in place What is decal? i sense i may need that designation?
I would sweep, I don't see why it would be time consuming. You can use push, or shell, if it's below the surface.
Hey Coutie, can i ask? You can clone the wall face and have ads on it set to a visi group. Then have regular grey wall under it for lower circuit detail. How to you raise it out? Face extrude?
I agree with all above, also don't forget to make a texture so you can use for example 12 ads from on image. Even more would be ideally. 2048 square or a 1/2 ratio 1024 by 2048 if needed for long ads.
