Great! I like new vegetation in rF2, trees and grass/flowers at the edge of the asphalt look very realistic. Lighting also looks good, and as I understand there will be post fx added later, so theres hope for even more realistic lighting. As I was watching, I was thinking "this would be so great with rally stages...", there is so many possibilities with rF.

Mirage effect is a little bit strange, so far, but its WIP. Also there is abrupt change of skies at 6:10, which I presume is also because of WIP. But it raises the question, how the skies will change in rF2? Will we get a dark clouds moving from one direction over time in case of coming rain, or it will be just static "blending" of different skies?

The terrain seems much smoother then previously possible in rf1. Hills with real 3d trees instead of billboards are always welcome. Flag animations are a bit jagged. The sunset looks perfect although no sun popped out to blind you. Ruts in the road pulled the car slightly which was nice.

One question is what car did you take here?

EDIT: I fixed the no-sound issue. Just play this video in the background.

Spa is looking Amazing! The new lighting and graphics look fantastic!

The mirage effect is an awesome feature, I think it just needs a little tweaking still :)

Amazing job guys! That old Spa is looking terrific, and it's not even finished! I think the improvements are very noticeable comparing to rF1.

Thanks indeed for sharing, can't wait to drive a historical car there!! :)

    Regards

    Wow, thanks for the video!

    The track is amazingly detailed.
The environment around the track looks great,
it really gives you the feeling of being in the Belgian Ardennes.

    Historic tracks rule

    Great job ISI!

That was the animation bug Tim noted--it was introduced while hooking up the windshield wipers :) Just needs some cleaning up...

Mirage is something like a Haze-effect?

Noticed a changing wind-strength and -direction on the Flags? Am I right?

Beautiful to watch anyway. Makes my heart beat like BANG BANG BANG! *g*

Loving it, tohugh I've seen some problems. First the ones I can live with and probably are due to the WIP state:

    - bushes and houses pop-up.
    - jump from dawn to midday sky at 6.10.
    - some "whiteness" at the horizon on the asfalt.

What I can't bear to see. First let me put a map so that everyone follows as I speak of the corners:

    - Eau Rouge and therefore Radillion don't feel ok. Maybe Eau Rouge is too long or has too much "angle" of turn, which moves the Radillion to much to the left and then it provokes a need to "stretch" the radillion, just before getting to the top of it, in which you're almost in a straight line instead of a corner. Besides, heights seem a bit of at the Radillion.

    - Also, at Stavelot, neither the angle or the height differences seem spot on:

    - Finally, the white kerb on the inside of La source seems a bit big:

Guys, don't get me wrong, it looks great, but just a bit more depth into these details will make it the ultimate old Spa, forever. I think it's worth the effort. All the best and not at all bothered if you don't release it in 2010. I'd just as well rather have it next year, so that you have proper time to not rush it... :)

If I can be of any help, by the way, would be glad to.

    Best regards
