I am well aware that making cars in historic versions must be an enormous and tedious job but what a pleasure to immerse yourself in the reality of the time while driving them, when you see the Chef's work for 1967 it is magnificent! in a pinch why not make the best 2 or 3 cars of each year or the best of the decade rather than the full season? Above all, it is not just a cricique, my opinion as a Formula 1 enthusiast
Back home and back at it for a little while. Just got done painting probably the most famous F5000 out there. Brian Redman's Braxo Lola. He had 3 different liveries in the 1975 season, and I think I started all of them at some point. Finally settled on this one as it ran the last few races of the season, won the inaugural Long Beach Grand Prix and I did see it in person Weird question. I just took the cars on track, and am getting the starter sound repeating issue. Anybody else get this? Has there been a change to rF2 that broke? An update to the mod that I didn't catch previously?
bah...eff1, eff1 it's all eff1. Yet the same drivers in some of the same teams are ignored...IGNORED I TELLS YA, cuz they dared to make twice to three times the money racing in the Can Am series(and often a second or two faster at the same tracks than those vaunted EffOnes). World Champs like Hulme and Surtees, Andretti, Hill et al. Amon, Siffert, Brabham, Hobbs, Posey, Savage, Oliver. Indy 500 champs, Teams like Penske, Mclaren, Ferrari, BRM, Lola, and not a Shadow or a Panzer in sight. sigh....
Finally the flag drops 1972 had major news stories including Munich Olympics Terrorist Attack, Mark Spitz 7 gold medals and the introduction of digital watches while in Formula 1 the world drivers championship was over 12 rounds and was won by Emerson Fittipaldi in the beautiful JPS Lotus. In this pack you get 27 cars which are created in the style of the 1972 machines. These cars are not perfect representations of the cars but they are pretty good and when you are in the car driving its almost impossible to tell Massive call out to Mauro who created all of the icons (and the screen shots on this post) and of course Chief for this very clever mod also credit to Chief for base skins in the mod that I did some small alterations to. If you like my skins shout me a coffee to keep me awake View attachment 38372 This skin pack is for the F1 70's Style mod created by Chief Wiggum you need it installed https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/f1-1972-style.42194/

thank you !! congratulations !! we miss Charade .... Nurburgring (tourist layout) ..... this is not the right version, there is a version 75 which should be updated at the graphic texture level
I linked the best drivable rf2 track for that era with the same (or quite similar) layout Unfortunately 75 Ring version is a very old gpl/rf1 fast conversion with very poor road mesh. Undrivable and you risk to broke your steering wheel
There is the legendary wip pixsim version by scratch I wish the project isn't dead (and i just wrote a message to the modder for asking that)
Got the next couple done. Had it all set with the Vern Schuppan being in the Eagle, but with the recent passing of Uncle Bobby, I have to include him as well.
is it a dream car ? the track was not beautifull in this era so dangerous for mpe, i wait about 80's cars with 90's track
Today was a good day. But I'm starting to get to the point where there are not many reference photos and finding fonts for logos are becoming difficult. I have about 5 or 6 left to tackle. Then work on the regions and helmets. Anybody have experience with the talent files? I've never been good at them.
