    When i run the 64 bit rFactor2.exe i instantly get the error message rFactor2.exe can't run - error (0x00007b).
Executed all the support libraries, but still no success.
The 32 bit version runs fine.
My other sims (iRacing, Assetto, pCars) running their 64bit versions work perfectly.
Tried so many possible different fixes i found online.
But none of them get the 64bit version of rF2 running.
The EXE stops working even before it can output a log file.

    System: Win7 pro SP1 - 64bit (all updates done), intel i7 2600k @ 4.2 ghz - 16GB ram - 2x GTX 670 SLI - system is running all other games flawless.
rFactor 2 is a complete clean install, also the Win7 OS been a freshly installed on a clean disk about 2 weeks ago.

When i run the file validating tool i get a message the 64bit rFactor exe cannot be validated.
So i did a 2nd clean install just to be sure there was no faulty files.
But it gives the same problem.

Never had this problem before on my other OS, first W7 than upgraded W10.
When i found out i kept getting irritating minor driver issues in W10, as none of the games worked as smooth as they did before.
Decided to install a separate Win7-64 just for my racing sims, as they run much more fluid with my SLI setup (****ty nVidia drivers).

Anybody got this problem before and knows a fix?

Done that already, as stated in my post.
Multiple times even, x86 and 64bit version all files in the support folder, including the DX update.

Will do another run of Dependency Walker tonight.

Did a Dependency Walker session on the rF2.exe
Gave me one file that turned out red.
Seems i had a faulty/incompatible version of "avifil32.dll" in the system.
Copied the same file from another system.
With a bit of work was able to replace it.
Double clicked rF2 in 64bit mode... fingers crossed...
    Yeah it loaded properly!

Thanks for pointing out the existence of a great util like Dependency Walker.
