I really like this mod, congratulations for this great work. Two seconds slower than the previous version on my personal time but we will gradually refine the set. Normally I do not use HDR but out of curiosity I tried it yesterday and the mirrors do not work.(online mode). Uninstalled previous versions mods. Congratulations Slow Motion and collaborators.
No idea at all about your problem and it is really strange also the problem related to the ISR server... I do not understand the why and it seems that no relationship between server and mirrors is possible! Please, in any case double check once again that no previous vehicle version as well as sound as well as virtual mod are installed other than the version 2.0. And, if you like to help me, please, install a new instance of rF2 without using old userdata files, with all default values and look at the mirrors. Pay attention to the graphic adapter too and its configuration. FYI, the version 2.0 uses the default "mirror.bmp" file of ISI and the specific shader developed by ISI for mirrors and used into other mods, also with same coefficients. I could have missed something, but really I don't understand because the most users no longer have this issue.
For somebody that could love to paint some special liveries, I added the full PDS template to the first post. Enjoy it and let me see beautiful skins!
Thank you Babs and thank you for the availability of the server: this afternoon (Italian local time), I enjoyed to drive with so many guys that I thought to the gold era of rFactor. More than 20 cars in the afternoon, wow! Thank you, this was my target and I'm really happy: great fights, great fair play and a very high level in driving!!!
all drivers with fair play are always welcome on our server I'm happy that all find on our servers, and we can make fun races together. returning to the issue of the virtual mirror,I noticed that if you enter in game, with option "all vehicles and tracks",the mirrors function properly,if I use a VMOD not work anymore. there seems to be a conflict with the old version. I tried to redo the VMOD,uninstalling and removing any old file and does not work. Now I'm trying other thing that concerns the system "Get Missing Component",maybe go get an old version in the database dropbox. I will let you know if I solve the problem. Maybe Slow Motion, try doing a VMOD and test it offline, and tell me if it works regularly. Babs
I did not think that this type of mod would appeal to many, many thanks to those who continued to work on the project
Bravo. Thank you so much Slow Motion. Hope to see you again by the ISR server. Have if we hear administrators and organize a championship.
Babs, I did all tests in the past and I usually open a dedicated just for testing. Anyway, to be sure, I remade all tests: - 32 / 64 bit - HDR ON / OFF - SP / MP / DevMode - all cars and tracks / only VMod - new VMod / old VMod into my server / ISR server Mirrors work perfectly with the exception of ISR server.
I think I have understood where the problem resides If possible I would like to talk to you in TS Let me know Babs
No dsl and no voice due to the thunderstorm... asap telecom will fix it we can meet on ts. Otherwise email me and I'll read you on smartphones like now. Thanks babs.
I still feel like there's something off with the physics of the car. It's as if the first 10° of steering or so doesn't do anything at all, it feels as if the wheel has a huge deadzone before anything happens. Am I the only one that has this feeling? Anyway, thanks for keeping up the good work SlowMotion! Car has alot of potential
I don't have this feeling with my T500RS (I saw you're using G27). Does the virtual wheel on screen move when you make tiny steering movement? Obvious asking, but that will eliminate possible real wheel/drivers problem I guess...
It was the same on my G27 that went bust but my replacement Fanatec Turbo S I had lying around has the same behaviour. The wheel on screen and in my hands all move perfect in sync, it's something I feel in the car that just feels strange to me. I should have a T300 in a couple of days so maybe I'll give it another go then but to me it feels more like something with the car itself.
