This has worked with add on tracks for me, but for some reason not with ISI made tracks. Are you sure that you have managed to get Monaco working in dev mode just by copying?
Really? If i do the same I can't see nothing in devmode...that's interesting. So you have just copied the installed contents into the devmode and it works...?
That tends to work with most addon tracks because they have "Filter Properties = rFRS TMOD" in their GDB files but it won't work for the ISI tracks.
Yes and yes. I DevMode, I have: Estoril, Spa, Sepang, Mills, Monaco and Palm Beach from ISI tracks. All just copied and all works. The only issue is - I don't have working external track cameras but I can live with that
Exactly. You can't see ISI tracks in devmode because they are not installed and the only Filter is working is the testing mod "TMOD"... Mah... Of course I believe you...but if I do the same does not work at all. I've to put the TMOD in the .gdb to see the track in devmode..
Do you have working all cars & tracks in dev mode that you are using then? I did try to get all cars and tracks into dev mode but I get no selection of cars or tracks, I can of course enter to track with default car and track what happens to be already selected.
OK, I know where the confusion comes from. You guys probably use "Testing MOD", right? Yes, with that mod, I see no ISI tracks. But normally I do testing with my own mods and within them, I can use all tracks, including those from ISI.
You have probably added such track filter to your mod that it shows all tracks? edit: In rfm * as track filter, I guess, that is how it works for me it appears.
Well actually I edit the ISI All Cars & Tracks for use in devmode. Just extract the MAS contents to the ModDev\RFM folder then edit the top bit of the RFM from Code: //[[gMa1.002f (c)2010 ]] [[ ]] Mod Name = All Tracks & Cars Mod Version = 1.0 TrackList VehicleList to Code: //[[gMa1.002f (c)2010 ]] [[ ]] Mod Name = All Tracks & Cars Mod Version = 1.0 Track Filter = * Vehicle Filter = *
Yes it works. This is the best way to move ISI tracks into devmode...and it was obvious lol. Thanks Lesiu... I can confirm you can't use track cams...but at least it works and it is fast!
Thanks guys, this saves a lot of effort for other things. And what best, it saves lot of HD space, my rFactor occupies over 50GB already, don't know why really, but I guess because content from single player and dev mode add up, only 80GB available on largest partition and I prefer to have everything at single installation so I just choose ingame where to drive and which.
Yes, but that's what you typically put into rfm anyway, so I didn't really think about it as I already had that filters set in my rfms Glad it works for you too guys.
I only consider myself an average driver, and I can control those types of slides in rFactor2. I'm beginning to wonder if some people are not aware of their sim dropping out of realtime, or some other performance issue, that is affecting their driving?
So? Driving wise he is some random arab, as I said. No experience reported with open wheelers, just rally lots of years ago.
