3ds max plugins ----- isi please look

    Hey
    loving the new game got a question tho is there any plans to release updated plugins for 3ds Max ie for the later versions of 3ds Max as I'd love to be able to fully utilize 3ds Max 2012

    3ds Max 2012 plugins are not a top priority at the moment, but I'm sure it will be supported eventually.

    Be aware, you are not the first who asked… 8/
    Especially for professional modelers who actually bought the latest version it's quite inconvenient.

    hey luc thanks for the response , yea thats fine ive got the 2010 version to for exporting just hoping youll suppourt 2012 in the future

    Hi , any chance to have working plugins for older 3dsmax 7.

    To buy a new version of 3dsmax only for rF2 its a bit to expensive.

    You can download free 3DS Max from Autodesk and use it non-commercially with education license. They expect you to be some sort of art/design school student, but then again... how can they know ;)

    yeah but thats the next problem when i buy a new version of 3dsmax (2012) there are no plugins for it now.

    so i have no chance to take my work to rF2 for now. hm.

    the plugins aren't working with 2012? Did someone even try?

    If they're not compiled for 2012 I don't need to try because 3ds max won't even load the plugins.

    how about 2011, i cant get my shaders to load. The plugins work it would seem, but the shaders are shwing a VS11_BLINNBUMP error on startup? Anyone got any info on this?

    nevermind, turns out i had some conflicting shaders... gone now

    Did you get everything working in 2011 version?
    I managed to get GMT converter to work but gMotorMaterial I cannot see.
    I am stuck in the workflow tutorial at:

    - Click on “temp_test ( Standard )” button, then click on “Standard” and select
    gMotorMaterial on the list. T1 gMat is showing by default.
    - Click on “Map#1 (gTex)”

    I dont see 'T1 gMat' showing.


    I have 2012 version, I am allowed to run 2011 and 2010 versions also, but when 2013 version is released I will no longer be allowed to run 2010. Will I be left with a full working version of 3DsMax but unable to continue my rFactor project?
