The most typical question ... what showroom are you using? Beside that - awesome work.

I've kind of worked on Lotus 16 physics for a while less than two years ago.

I was starting to look into this model. There was one or two models I wanted to do first before I dig into this one. I need to get better at the whole converting process. This model is amazing! So hopefully @EmperorOfFinland you'll be able to get this one started :)

As mantasisg said, I did have a very base version of the rF1 mod converted over. Getting permission to convert the physics or using the physics as a starting point would help this project maybe?

that would probably work if the physics are well done. i could take a peak on it when i get my stuff done. i know how to adjust the physics so it should not be particularly hard thing to do. just requires to put the car into the calculator or fake it till you make it through trial and error

I got the first model ported to the game with a base port. i just put the car skin shader and used skipbarber physics to get it so its mostly driveable. i will change physics later i just ported the car so i can do changes more easily now. it does drive too

I decided to take look at 1958 physics for the lotus that were existing and i ported the engine sounds and the physics for this car for just a test. it seems to work okay, i was really expecting this job to take longer. it was a rather easy baseport job for atleast one model and i can probably reuse the suspension on other models on the list. of course the dials have to be made and animated but otherwise its okay.

I also generated a IBL file for the tires and assigned the basetextures for it so it works but does not get blurred by speed.

Physics will be a whole different issue to be honest. i dont have time to tweak the physics myself as the car seems to handle bit weirdly due to suspension geometry. Im currently quite busy on the F1 1982 League Edition so i cant tweak the physics that much as all the limited drivingtime im able to do will be spent for driving the 1982 cars and their physics.

I can port the assets in but i would need help on physics to sort them out. It's just that the 1982 has a deadline at the start of January and there is still plenty of stuff to do. so i wont have time before January to really take look at the car that much.

Cars i could port in quite quickly without problem and i already wrote a file structure for them to begin with. I could give out the files for the single car over here if you want them but they are moddev files so it will take a while to get it working properly. but it does have physics that could be improved and engines and so on. But i just dont have time yet to start focusing on it. Although if i get help with skins for what im working on i can use that time to port the cars in.

I have little bit of physics work already done with this car IIRIC. But I am also very busy, won't be available to take this task at least for two months from now. But I would love to participate with physics.

Perhaps I'll have time to look whats already done next week, as I don't remember so well from more than a year ago, keep in mind I have to remember stuff from whole 1967 and 1954 cars packs, I am basically running out of memory with this many cars lol

I think no one would mind to wait a little bit.

I would like to make it so bad. Maybe will attempt something. But ideally I wish it would be a community project, there would be series of things that I most likely won't be able to do properly in terms of model, most likely some UV channels problems from blender, perhaps some other specific rF2 bits, animations... Sound modding ? Haven't heard about that one.
