Hello, this topic is to present my semi-fictional 2012 Formula 1 field. These were originally intended to be part of an update but it didn't happen due to such close resemblance to real life, so I continued working on it anyways to make it a public, non-affiliated release. It contains a full grid of cars (4k resolution), helmets and suits for the new teams, and goes along with the existing fake F-ISI teams closely resembling Sauber, Force India, Caterham, and Mercedes. Installation: Place the .rfcmp file in the Packages folder ("Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Packages") or folder you use to install content in the game Credits: Custom liveries, suits, helmets, logo designs, performance ratings: Guimengo Extensive fantasy sponsors: Image Space Inc. Base car: Formula ISI 2012 Compiling .rfcmp & thumbnails: boxer I hope you enjoy, especially the mountain lions on those engine covers (such a pain to create it perfectly). Feel free to re-use my work if you do it with quality and provide credit and link the original . Download here
I am looking into making these into an rfcmp, with the 1.60 F-ISI, so it can be used online and also go up on the Workshop. Where can I find how to unpackage the ISI mod and repackage with the 9 cars?
Making a package out of those skins is a very good idea. I'd love to help you, but sadly I'm a bit clueless when it comes to packaging. I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction soon though. Thanks again for the skins. Really good to see a fresh looking FISI grid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cheers, it's all good, I'll get it done eventually. At least everything loads from other people online, that's a good start.
Thanks and respect for your nice Work. Is it possible to give them an icon too, like the originals? And why does it starts at car #12 instead #14, because I have doubled car #12 & #13 (there is the original + yours). Greetings.
Glad you like them! 1) I think only by creating a package for it. 2) I ended up doing 12 and 13 to compensate for the ones in place. The stock cars that resemble the Sauber and Caterham are good enough, the one for Ferrari... not so much.
