It's not quite the elegant and prestigious race that Goodwood is, but fans of classic muscle may enjoy Australia's own Touring Car Masters series. It fields cars manufactured between '63 and '76, mostly Australian and American muscle but there are Alfa's, Ford Escort's and Porsche's in the mix as well. It's proven a very popular series down here, probably because of the nostalgia factor. And the boys don't mess about, this is real racing, not a fun run spectacle. I used to live near Goodwood, beautiful place and anything they put on up there seems to do good. The dressage and the races are fantastic so I'm sure the Festival is up to par. I know that Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean) has driven there a few times.
